Church of Our LadyChurch of Our Lady of the Roses of the Black Man. This small square located a block north of Rock Gallery.
In the center of the square is the church known as Our Lady of the Roses of the Black Man, it is considered the oldest African-Brazilian institution active in the city of Sao Paulo.
The church was built by African-Brazilian Catholics in 1906 after them being forbidden to warship in any other church attended by white people.
