Campos do Jordão: It’s famously known as the Brazilian Switzerland-based, whose architecture and buildings were inspired by European design. It has a much cooler climate compared with the Brazilian average, due to its high elevation on a mountain range.
The city’s altitude of 1600 meters high, is considered to be the highest Brazilian city. There’s a winter festival of classical music during the high season in july.
There’s also a shopping area where you find excellent German and Swiss food restaurants. There are many outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain climbing, horseback riding and many others.
