Ipiranga Museum: This Museum belongs to the University of São Paulo (USP), better known as the Ipiranga Museum for its location on the banks of the ancient river of the same name that passed through the city of São Paulo.
Here we can find a little bit about the Brazil’s independence day – proclaimed in this same region in 1822, by Dom Pedro I – such as the picture “Independence or Death” by Pedro Américo, named after the cry of the hero’s proclamation.
It has the Monument to independence, sculpture in honor of the most important date in the history of the country, whose crypt houses the remains of Dom Pedro l.
