World Cup Host Stadium Tour

stadiumThe Arena Corinthians, got to be built to serve as a playing venue for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and to provide Corinthians with an own home.

It officially opened in May 2014 and has a capacity of 48,000 seats, but for the purpose of the World Cup another 20,000 seats was added on both ends. During the World Cup, it hosted the opening match, three further group matches, a round of 16 match, and one of the two semi-finals.
The Arena Corinthians is located in the east area of the city of São Paulo in the Itaquera neighborhood which is about 18 kilometres from São Paulo’s city center.

It certainly pays to take a visit at this latest icon of São Paulo.
