The Lake of Ibirapuera Park

Ibirapuera ParkThe Lake of Ibirapuera Park. The park’s three interconnected ponds, which forms a sort of lake, occupies 15,700 square meters. Here you can sit & relax and spot birds enjoying the water or take a walk over the arch bridge. The lake also has a large fountain that was installed for the celebration of Sao Paulo’s 450th anniversary in 2004.
 
The lake is especially spectacular during Christmas time when everything is decorated with lights.
